Here are all the ways to get Multibucks in The Finals.

How To Get Multibucks in The Finals

Like many free-to-play online FPS games, you can customize and dress up your characters in The Finals through Skins and other cosmetic items. To get these cosmetics, you’ll need to purchase them from the in-game Store using a special currency called Multibucks.

This quick guide will walk you through ways to get Multibucks in The Finals.

What are Multibucks?

Multibucks are The Finals’ default currency for purchasing Store items and other cosmetic offerings. You can think of Multibucks similarly to Valorant’s Valorant Points or Apex Legends’ Apex Coins, as all these currencies are used to purchase in-store offerings in their respective games.

image 77

Multibucks can only be purchased in bundles and fixed quantities. Below are all five purchasable Multibucks bundles and their prices.

  • 500 Multibucks – $4.99
  • 1150 Multibucks – $9.99
  • 2400 Multibucks – $19.99
  • 6250 Multibucks – $49.99
  • 13000 Multibucks – $99.99

You can use Multibucks to purchase Store offerings or cosmetic items in the Contestants menu. Some items you can purchase using Multibucks include Headwear, Facewear, Upper Body (clothing), Badges, and Shoes, among many other cosmetic options.

How to Get Multibucks in The Finals

There are two ways to get Multibucks in The Finals – purchase it directly using real money or grind through the Battle Pass. You must spend real money whether you purchase the currency directly or grind through the Battle Pass since the Multibucks is a Premium-only reward.

Purchasing Multibucks in The Finals is easy. On the PC, click the Multibucks icon in the upper right corner of The Finals home screen, choose the bundle you want to purchase, and then checkout through Steam.

For the PlayStation or Xbox, head to the PlayStation Store/Xbox Store, log in using your PlayStation/Xbox Account and buy Multibucks from there.

Earning Multibucks from the Battle Pass

As mentioned, you can earn some Multibucks by progressing through the Premium Battle Pass. However, you must purchase the Premium Battle Pass first, as the Multibucks rewards from the Battle Pass are Premium only. The Premium Battle Pass costs 1150 Multibucks or $9.99.

A screenshot showing the Multibucks cost of the Premium Battle Pass in The Finals.

You can get 75 Multibucks at Levels 3, 7, 12,19, 23, 27, 30, 35, 39, 43, 46, 50, 55, 63, 67, 70, 75, 78, 82, 85, and 91 of the Premium Battle Pass. If you can max out the Battle Pass in one season, you can earn up to 1575 Multibucks and recoup the 1150 Multibucks you spent on the Premium Battle Pass.

Are Multibucks worth it?

Using real money to purchase Multibucks is arguably not worth it, as skins and other cosmetic items from the in-game Store will not give you any competitive advantage in The Finals.

image 73

There’s also a good chance other players won’t give too much thought to your custom mask or that golden watch you have equipped when you’re in the middle of a firefight anyway, giving cosmetic items very little impact if you’re looking to show off in-game.

If you value how your character looks in-game, forking over real money to get Multibucks might be worth it. You’ll look extra cool in the pre-game load screen and in-game when you win first place in your next match.

Final Thoughts

Getting Multibucks in The Finals is fairly straightforward – access the in-game Multibucks icon and choose the bundle you want to purchase (PC), or head to the PlayStation Store/Xbox Store and purchase your desired Multibucks bundles there. Alternatively, you can purchase the Premium Battle Pass and grind through it to earn up to 1575 Multibucks.

How to Play Wraith in Apex Legends https://playerassist.com/play-wraith-apex-legends/ https://playerassist.com/play-wraith-apex-legends/#respond Sat, 20 May 2023 20:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=217378

Wraith is one of the most popular Legends in Apex Legends. Due to her interdimensional abilities, she can “kidnap” opponents and transport allies to places that are hard to reach. This makes her popular in highlight reels and memes.

How to Play Wraith in Apex Legends

Due to her diminutive hitbox, Wraith is a quick, fast, and elusive Legend. She is the classic glass cannon trope with her speed, quickness, and precognition. She is very effective in assassinating the backlines.

Who is Wraith?

Wraith is a feisty assassin, capable of lethal strikes and manipulating spacetime by forming rifts through the fabric of reality – but those talents came at a cost. She awoke years earlier in an IMC prison facility with no recollection of who she was. Renee Blasey, the Senior Science Pilot who volunteered as a guinea pig for her studies… whose partner deceived and imprisoned her… no longer existed.

All that remained was a shy girl terrified by a cacophony of voices in her brain until another version of herself came and taught her to listen to the voices. Wraith found the fortitude to break away from her cage and flee into a new universe – this actual one.

Wraith, now physically free but still deprived of her memories, continues her journey to discover who she was before the tests. She is still a regular in the Apex Games and draws closer to the truth with each bout. With so many Apex Games taking place on ancient IMC compounds, Wraith is now competing to access the enigmatic facilities and discover more about her identity.

Wraith is not the best Legend for newbies. Even if you had spent hundreds of hours, you still could be terrible playing as Wraith. Admittedly, those who play FPSes competitively will have a better go with her. But even so, practice using her first before jumping into ranked modes.

Playing Wraith: Crawl Before You Walk

Here are some of the basics to take note of in playing as Wraith in Apex Legends:

Be the bait.

Wraith is very annoying to play against. Her speed and quickness make her incredible in luring out enemies or making them abandon their positions just to kill her. Be that Wraith player that makes you turn your head round and round and in and out of the circle.

Pick the lethal weapons.

When you escape through the void and lead an offensive on an unsuspecting opponent team, you can cause as much damage as possible in as little time as possible. Given Wraith’s ability to sneak up on enemy squads, it’s best to utilize weapons that inflict greater damage at closer range, such as the Peacekeeper and EVA-8 Auto. Ensure you have enough shotgun ammo, and try to bring burst-type weapons.

Showcase your versatility.

While it is true that Wraith is probably the best pure assault Legend in Apex Legends, she is a great scout. She can move across the map and escape any countermeasure. Be forewarned that with her Tactical in cooldown, she is extremely vulnerable.

Armed to the teeth.

Make sure you have the best weapons, attachments, and armor. Demand this from your teammates. Let them know what ammo you want and get it from them. As a Wraith, you have all the right to demand these since you are hit fast and very hard. This also means that you have to perform well. A Wraith who gets caught and revived too many times is not a good player and should have chosen any other Legend.

Familiarize the map and the environment.

Among all the “free” Legends in Apex Legends, Wraith should be the last Legend to use by a newbie player. Most of you should unlock Octane before dipping your toes with Wraith so that you can learn and approximate how to use a Legend that is incredibly potent in offense but very soft. The very reason why playing the game more before even trying Wraith is to be familiar with the maps and know, like the back of your hand, every nook and cranny to hide or obscure yourself from vision. Wraith takes advantage of these the best by far.

How to Use Wraith Skills in Apex Legends

How to use Wraith’s Passive Voices from the Void

In-game Description:

A voice warns you when danger approaches.

Honestly, Wraith’s Passive is pretty cool. A voice would whisper in your ears if something dangerous were coming your way. This makes your squad protected from any ambushes up to a certain degree. Below are the events that trigger the Voices from the Void:

  1. An enemy is aiming at Wraith
  2. An enemy with a sniper rifle is aiming at Wraith
  3. Wraith is entering a place with traps
  4. Enemies are nearby Wraith
  5. Casualties are nearby

With this information, you will be ahead of enemy squads’ shenanigans. Aside from that, it is downright cool to have someone (actually Wraith herself in another time and space) tell you things that are happening live. However, some may find that creepy.

Here are some tips for taking advantage of this very unique Passive:

  • With your Active, you can be an effective scout and bait in an open area by diving in the middle and making the Passive trigger. By then, you can communicate with your teammates that someone somewhere is around the area.
  • You need a good headset. Any competitive first-person shooter requires a good headset for positioning purposes so that you would know where the footsteps are coming from. With Wraith, this is mandatory so that you can hear clearly in the middle of a fight that another squad is aiming at you.
  • You can choose to share the information given by this psychic ability. Sometimes, events like dead bodies in an area need not be reported. Even being targeted needs not to be shared when all of you are in the middle of a close-quarter gunfight. What is already obvious need not be repeated.

How to Use Wraith’s Tactical Into the Void

20211012071711 1
Enter the void

In-game Description:

Reposition quickly through the safety of void space, avoiding all damage.

Into the Void is synonymous with Wraith herself. You may find this an amazing activity in the hands of streamers or opposing players. Yet, you may struggle to utilize this skill wisely in your hands. Nevertheless, with practice, you can make this powerful ability.

This ability effectively phases Wraith out of existence, rendering her immune to both damage and abilities. The ability takes 1.25 seconds to use, but once activated, she has 4 seconds in the void where you are entirely secure and travels 30% quicker.

This skill is the cornerstone of Wraith’s elusiveness, allowing her to reposition herself unexpectedly and favorably. She can use Into the Void to reset, heal, or escape entirely if combat doesn’t go her way.

Here are some tips for using this iconic Wraith ability:

  • A trick you can pull with your Into the Void is leaving the circle and going flank enemies or backstab them. All sources of damages are not taken against Wraith when she is inside the void. As mentioned before, you won’t take damage while ‘Into the Void’ is active, which makes it incredibly useful for those late-game moments when you are stuck between the edge of the circle and a wide-open plain with barely any cover in sight.
  • Wraith cannot interact with most items in the void; a locked door might jeopardize her escape plan. She can, however, utilize ziplines in the void.
  • The activation animation and the cooldown of Into the Void are relatively long. Its activation is 1.25 seconds with a cooldown of 25 seconds. That is a lot of downtime between usage. In the heat of battle, 1.25 seconds can feel like an eternity, so make sure you have enough health to activate the ability to get out of a situation.
  • Into the Void is better used as a counter-measure, a reactionary tool rather than as initiating maneuver. If you use this to enter a fight, you won’t be able to use it later to reposition, and if your opponent is prepared to attack, you’ll be an easy target as you appear from the void. You are at a disadvantage both before and after activating the ability. There is a brief delay when you escape the Void, during which your mobility is reduced by 20%, and your weapon is not ready. Try to ensure that you have substantial health and armor before and after using this ability.

How to Use Wraith’s Ultimate Dimensional Rift

In-game description:

Link two locations with portals for 60 seconds, allowing your entire team to use them.

The Dimensional Rift is an incredible skill in the hands of a good Wraith player and is terrible for those who do not know the ins and outs of the skill. When using the ability, Wraith places a portal in two locations. She has 60 seconds to run from points A and B to bridge them.

Read: Apex Legends Gifting Guide

She can place the final destination within the duration, but it will be placed automatically if the time expires or after she has leaped over 75 meters. Once both portals are placed, anyone can use friend or foe portals to move between the two locations. While casting her Ultimate, Wraith cannot use items, weapons, or ziplines. She receives a 25% speed boost with her already incredible speed.

Tips and Tricks

  • Wraith can cast her Ultimate to escape a battle due to the extra speed.
  • While Dimensional Rift is commonly used to escape difficult circumstances, it may also be employed offensively, particularly in battles with multiple squads. Ambush other players by using the portals. If you hear a battle in front of you, Wraith can use a portal to transport herself and her squad into the fight and go for clean-up kills.
  • Portals can only be used by players. Projectiles, items, and skills, such as Crypto’s drone or Mirage’s decoys, cannot enter through the portals. A Mirage coming out of the portal is not a decoy.
  • The ideal usage for these portals is to get around bottlenecks and provide a safe path for your team. Start your portal where your friends are, sprint across the canyon, then drop the exit on the other if you need to go from one side to the other. The same applies if you want to run put-out portals from cover to cover or building to building.
  • These portals endure 60 seconds, which is far longer than it appears. While useful for transporting comrades, they also allow adversaries to pass through. This is a perfect opportunity for an ambush. This method is also popular as a meme with Wraith players jumping into an enemy squad and putting down the second portal, therefore “kidnapping” their enemies. This takes a lot of practice and will often not work.

The author won a game as Wraith with Horizon and Bloodhound support.

Wraith versus Other Legends

Wraith is very picky when it comes to squadmates. She cannot work with any random team composition, especially with Octane in the lineup. They have a lot of overlap in terms of playstyle. Pathfinder also does not work with her.

Most assault-type Legends do not have synergy with her skills except Horizon and maybe Revenant. Wraith works best with Legends that take away the attention from her, like Gibraltar and Rampart. Recon legends also further increase her effectiveness due to her not needing to be an advanced scout.

Apex Legends Mobile: EA CEO Reveals Real Reason for Apex Mobile Shutdown https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-mobile-ea-ceo-reveals-real-reason-apex-mobile-shutdown/ https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-mobile-ea-ceo-reveals-real-reason-apex-mobile-shutdown/#respond Fri, 31 Mar 2023 17:00:51 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=402858

The company wants to provide a more ‘unified’ experience for all Apex Legends players on all platforms.

Apex Legends Mobile: EA CEO Reveals Real Reason for Apex Mobile Shutdown

EA and Respawn Entertainment brought shocking news to Apex Legends Mobile fans in January this year. In an announcement blog dated January 31st, the company pointed towards its inability to keep the bar high in terms of quality, quantity, and cadence in its updates, ultimately leading to its decision to shut down Apex Legends Mobile.

Many players were baffled by the announcement. Apex Legends Mobile was considered a very successful game (regardless of the game’s bugs and lack of new and exciting content), winning two Best Game awards in the 2022 Google Play Awards.

Unfortunately, those awards were not enough to keep the game alive, as the game was still ultimately scheduled for an inevitable shutdown later in the year.

After months of silence from EA and the devs, a recent investor’s call has highlighted the real reason behind Apex Legends Mobile’s untimely death.

Why did Apex Legends Mobile shut down?

EA and Respawn Entertainment blamed their inability to deliver quality content promptly for the death of Apex Legends Mobile.

While the game indeed had game-breaking bugs, cheater problems, and constant delays, these were things that EA and Respawn Entertainment could easily address through an update – they just chose not to.

As it turns out, the real reason for Apex Legends Mobile’s shutdown traces back to a growing trend that many game companies have begun to incorporate in their upcoming mobile games – cross-progression.

Apex Legends Mobile was co-developed with Tencent’s Lightspeed & Quantum, which meant the game had its very own Seasons and even featured mobile-exclusive Legends in the likes of Fade and Rhapsody.

The game even featured classic Legends like Horizon and Octane, but Apex Legend Mobile ultimately felt ‘disconnected’ from the main game, but do not take our word for it; CEO Andrew Wilson himself commented about Apex Legends Mobile’s problem of not being “deeply connected to the broader franchise.” This is the same reason why EA also canceled Battlefield Mobile.

EA competitors, such as Activision, have also announced the arrival of established PC/Console games that feature cross-progression, such as Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, which is touted to have cross-progression capabilities between mobile and PC/Console.

Will Apex Legends Mobile return?

There is no set a date for the return of Apex Legends Mobile. But if EA CEO Andrew Wilson’s words are anything to go by, Apex Legends Mobile fans can expect to see a relaunch soon.

“We’ve learned a great deal and have plans to reimagine a connected Apex Mobile experience in the future. We know our community values a deeply connected ecosystem, and our team is focused on delivering the best unified cross-platform experience for our players.” – Andrew Wilson during the EA Q3 2023 Earnings Call.

EA is looking to make Apex Legends Mobile an inter-connected experience in a future re-release, which means Cross-platform progression and even cross-platform play might be standard fare for the next iteration of Apex Legends on mobile platforms.

When will Apex Legends Mobile shut down?

Apex Legends Mobile will shut down on May 1st, 2023. Currently, players can still enjoy all the game has to offer, including all the in-game items they bought with real money.

Unfortunately, EA has been firm about refunds for store items that players have purchased in-game: Players will not be getting refunds for any in-game item they have bought as per the company’s User Agreement.

Tough Business Decisions

Investor Earnings Calls are important invents in a publicly-traded company such as EA, which means everything the company says in the meeting can be held against them if they fail to deliver their promises to the company’s investors. Fans can take EA CEO Andrew Wilson’s words as a declaration of things to come for Apex Legends Mobile.

With that said, Apex Legends Mobile fans can expect a more connected and unified Apex Legends experience to arrive on mobile in the future.

The Final Act

Despite its brief time on mobile, Apex Legends Mobile has quickly become one of the best Battle Royale games on Android and iOS. Unfortunately, this was not enough to save the game, as the devs ultimately decided to kill off the game for internal reasons.

Many fans will be sad to say goodbye to their favorite Battle Royale game come May 1st, but the devs have ensured that fans will have more than enough content to enjoy for Season 4 before the game finally shuts down.

The Season 4 Battle Pass runs until May 2nd, 2023, at 7:00 (UTC+8).

Horizon is one of the last Legends to arrive in Apex Legends Mobile.

Apex Legends Mobile: Horizon Abilities and Perks Overview

Apex Legends Mobile broke the mobile FPS market when it came out almost a year ago, in May of 2022. Since the game’s release, Apex Legends Mobile has been downloaded on millions of mobile devices across multiple regions worldwide. It even managed to bag the Best Game and Users’ Choice Awards at the Google Play Awards before the end of the year.

Apex Legends Mobile was just getting started, and players were already very excited to see the new content and changes in the game for 2023.

Little did fans know that Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment would axe Apex Legends Mobile while it was at the height of its popularity.

February 10 is the last time Apex Legends Mobile will receive updates, as it is set to shut down in May. As their final hurrah, Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment will give players a taste of what one of the most powerful Legends in the game can become with the Apex Legends Mobile exclusive Legend Perks.

Gravitational Manipulator – Horizon

Screenshot 20230219 111703 Apex Legends

Horizon uses her control over gravity to cushion falls, lift herself and her teammates to higher ground, and even spawn a mini-black hole that sucks in anything nearby.

Passive: Spacewalk

Screenshot 20230219 111647 Apex Legends

Increase air control and reduce fall impacts with Horizon’s custom spacesuit.

Spacewalk, Horizon’s Passive ability, allows her to move from high ground to low ground without taking too much damage.

This allows Horizon to ‘ambush’ enemies from high ground as she gains increased mid-air turn speeds and the ability to move faster after landing.

Spacewalk also allows Horizon to skip ziplines

Tactical: Gravity Lift

Screenshot 20230219 111712 Apex Legends

Reserve the gravity flow, lifting players upwards and boosting them outwards when they exit.

Gravity Lift can lift Horizon and her teammates to new heights, allowing her and her teammates to take a more advantageous angle against enemies on maps featuring many tall buildings and structures. Gravity Lift can even lift knocked teammates to a safer location.

Cooldown: 15 seconds.

Ultimate: Black Hole

Screenshot 20230219 111732 Apex Legends

Deploy N.E.W.T. to crease a micro black hole that pulls players in towards it and hits them with a gravitational blast at the end.

Horizon’s Black Hole affects enemies behind walls and cover and will be highlighted if they are standing behind the Black Hole. N.E.W.T. can be destroyed, however, as it only has 200 health.

Horizon’s Black Hole can be used with other Legends’ area abilities and items to deal massive damage. Use your Grenades and Arc Stars on enemies caught in Black Hole to deal as much damage as possible. Legend Abilities such as Causitc’s Nox Gas and Revenant’s Silence can also be used with Black Hole.

Cooldown: 120 seconds.

Horizon Legend Perks

Horizon’s Perks, Finisher Perks, and Ability Perks give her abilities even more bonuses and duration.

Perks

  • Swift Landing: Briefly accelerate after falling from a great height.
  • Gravitational Pull: While knocked down, you can still use Gravity Lift.
  • Leap for Mankind: You can jump higher when your Tactical and Ultimate are deployed.

Ability Perks

  • Cosmic Lift: Gravity Lift’s height increases by 50%.
  • Extra Dimension: You remain in the Gravity Lift longer.
  • Dark Matter: Black Hole destroys all enemy traps within its vicinity.

Finisher Perks

  • Deadly Momentum: Using your Finisher reduces your Ultimate’s cooldown by 30%.
  • Battle Adaptation: Using your Finisher adds 100 points to your EVO Shield.
  • Tactical Advantage: Using your Finisher charges your Tactical.

The most noteworthy Perks are Swift Landing, Gravitational Pull, Cosmic Lift, and Extra Dimension.

Swift Landing is especially great for players looking to play as aggressively as they can with Horizon as she gains the ability to move faster after landing, alongside her improved mid-air turn speed and quicker landing recovery speed.

Gravitational Pull is also a powerful Horizon Perk that allows the Gravitational Manipulator to reposition herself even when knocked down.

It is great for moving to safer areas on the map or launching Horizon toward her teammates to help them revive her more easily.

On maps with a ton of verticality, such as Olympus, Horizon can utilize the increased Gravity Lift height bonus from Cosmic Lift to propel herself and her allies to even higher ground. Extra Dimension offers a similar effect by allowing Horizon to stay in the Gravity Lift longer.

The Power of Gravity

While Horizon’s abilities in Apex Legends Mobile are very similar to its PC or console counterpart, Legend Perks sets Horizon on Apex Mobile apart, providing various buffs to her abilities, some of which can completely transform the already powerful Legend into an even more formidable force on the battlefield.

Apex Legends fans on PC or Console have long wished for Legend Perks found in Apex Legends Mobile. Unfortunately, the devs have not announced plans to introduce the mobile-exclusive gameplay element on PC or console. This means Apex fans on those platforms will have to play Apex Legends Mobile to experience how Legends such as Horizon perform with Perks.

They’ll have to hurry, though, as Apex Legends Mobile will no longer be playable after May 1st.

Apex Legends Mobile to Shut Down in May https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-mobile-to-shut-down-in-may/ https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-mobile-to-shut-down-in-may/#respond Mon, 06 Feb 2023 17:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=397620

April Fools is still two months away.

Apex Legends Mobile to Shut Down in May

Apex Legends Mobile arrived on the mobile gaming scene with guns blazing back on May 17, 2022. Since then, the game has garnered millions of fans and earned a number of awards, including the Best Game and Users’ Choice awards in the 2022 Google Play Awards.

Apex Legends Mobile’s first year was a runaway success, mostly due to the regular updates which brought in exciting new features and unique mobile-exclusive Legends such as Fade and Rhapsody. Add those to the mobile-exclusive Legend Perks and you’ve got a mobile game that’s seriously starting to rival its namesake.

Everything was going so well until EA and Respawn announced the shocking news that defies all logic – Apex Legends Mobile is shutting down on May 1st, 2023.

We have outlined everything you need to know about Apex Legends Mobile’s shutdown in this article.

What Happened to Apex Legends Mobile?

There could be a number of internal reasons why EA and Respawn Entertainment suddenly decided to axe Apex Legends Mobile. However, EA and Respawn Entertainment say they made the mutual decision to shut down Apex Legends Mobile due to not being able to deliver the quality, quantity, and update cadence they aimed to deliver to Apex Legends Mobile fans.

This news is definitely a shocker, not just to fans of Apex Legends Mobile, but to other players who know about the success that Apex Legends Mobile achieved in just a few months.

Sure, the game had some minor bugs that needed fixing, but those are almost expected in a newly released mobile game such as Apex Legends Mobile and are not worth shutting down a highly-successful game.

Whatever the real reason is for EA and Repsawn’s decision to shut down Apex Legend’s mobile fork, nothing will change the fact that the game is set to disappear forever on May 1st, 2023.

When will Apex Legends Mobile shut down?

EA and Respawn Entertainment will shut down Apex Legends Mobile on May 1st, 2023 at 4 PM PDT. By that time, players from all regions will no longer be able to play the game at all.

Players are no longer be able to make in-game purchases starting January 31st, 2023, as the devs have disabled real money in-app purchases.

What can players expect from the Apex Legends Mobile shutdown?

As of January 31, 2023, EA and Respawn Entertainment have stopped all stopped real money purchases and have already removed Apex Legends Mobile from third-party webstores. Despite this, the devs say players can still spend their Syndicate Gold and play the game like normal up until before May 1st.

All in-game purchases can be used until May 1st, 2023 at 4 PM PDT, but players cannot get a refund for most of their in-game purchases that fall under the EA User Agreement.

For more information, you can read the official blog post here.

Apex Legends Mobile: Revenant Abilities and Perks Guide https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-mobile-revenant-abilities-and-perks-guide/ https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-mobile-revenant-abilities-and-perks-guide/#respond Thu, 12 Jan 2023 21:00:49 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=392012

The human-turned-simulacrum Legend arrives on mobile.

Apex Legends Mobile: Revenant Abilities and Perks Guide

Formerly working as a hitman for the Syndicate, Kaleb Cross was eventually turned into an unkillable simulacrum cursed with immortality. To escape his fate, Revenant set out to find and destroy his source code. Unfortunately, Loba has his source code and refuses to give it back as revenge for Revenant’s killing of Loba’s parents.

Revenant arrives in Apex Legends Mobile in Season 3.5. Like many classic Legends that made it to mobile like Crypto and Ash, Revenant arrives in the Apex Legends Mobile roster with mostly the same abilities but complemented by a powerful set of Legends Perks that will take his power to another level.

We have outlined all of Revenant’s Abilities and Legend Perks in this guide.

Revenant – Synthetic Nightmare

1 1

Revenant is a defensive-minded Legend with abilities that allow him to support his allies by disabling enemy abilities and spawning a totem that saves his team from death. Below are Revenant’s abilities and their effects along with a complete list of Legend Perks for Revenant in Apex Legends Mobile.

Passive: Stalker

2

Revenant is able to crouch-walk faster and climb higher than his foes.

Revenant’s Passive Ability, Stalker, allows him to reach heights not possible with any other Legend in the game. Stalker gives Revenant access to vantage points around maps such as World’s Edge, giving him a bird’s eye view of the map.

3

Stalker also gives Revenant increased crouch-walk speed, which gives Revenant near-silent footsteps and increased accuracy with some weapons.

Tactical: Silence

4 2

Throw a device that deals damage and disables enemy abilities for short periods.

Silence is a straightforward ability that deals minor damage and disables enemy abilities for a short period.

6 1

Revenant can use Silence to great effect against other Legends who rely on their abilities to make a quick escape, such as Fade or Octane. Silence can also be used defensively to block of entryways while you revive teammates or heal up.

Cooldown: 25 seconds.

Ultimate: Death Totem

7 1

Drop a totem that protects those who use it from death for a set amount of time. Instead of being killed or downed, users will be teleported back to the totem and restored to a certain amount of health when they receive critical damage.

Upon activation, Death Totem will give users pseudo-immortality for 25 seconds by allowing users to enter a shadow state with no armor. Death Totem will send players into a shadow state with the same HP they had upon using the Death Totem. If a user dies while in a shadow state, they will be sent back to the Death Totem with the same HP they had before they activated the totem.

8 1

It is worth noting that Death Totem users with low HP but who do not die while in shadow mode will not be sent back to the Death Totem automatically. Instead, shadow mode will wear off and leave these users with low HP vulnerable against enemies. Dying with low HP while out of the shadow state will result in actual death this time around.

The Death Totem has 100HP and lasts 30 seconds.

Cooldown: 120 seconds.

Revenant Legend Perks

Revenant features key Perks, Finisher Perks, and Ability Perks that can add buffs to his defensive skill set.

Perks

  • Death Stalker – Crouch-walk speed increases.
  • Nightmare Fuel – Climbing reloads your weapons.
  • Creeping Dread – Allows Revenant to climb with horizontal control.

Ability Perks

  • No Rest For The Wicked – Death Totem grants Stalker to allies.
  • Fear Paralysis – Enemies hit by Silence will also be slowed.
  • Zombie Siphon – While under the effect of Death Totem, Knocking enemies restores HP.

Finisher Perks

  • Battle Adaptation – Using your finisher adds 100 points to your EVO Shield.
  • Deadly Momentum – Using your finisher reduces your Ultimates Cooldown by 30%.
  • Interrogator – Using your Finisher Reveals the location of your target’s squad on the mini-map

Revenant’s most powerful Legend Perks are arguably Death Stalker, Creeping Dread, No Rest For The Wicked, and Fear Paralysis.

Death Stalker deserves a shout-out, however, as this Perk gives Revenant even faster crouch-walk speeds to the point where his crouch-walk is now faster than his normal walking speed. On the other hand, No Rest For The Wicked adds a powerful buff to Death Totem by giving allies Stalker’s passive effects while using Death Totem. Lastly, Fear Paralysis makes the already powerful Silence even more powerful by adding a slow buff to the ability.

Cursed With Immortality

Revenant needs no introduction in Apex Legends Mobile, as tons of Apex Legends players are probably big fans of the Synthetic Nightmare’s abilities in the original game. That said, the same fans will be very jealous after learning about Revenant’s powerful Perks that separate him from the PC and Console versions.

Apex Legends: Spellbound Collection Event Patch Notes https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-spellbound-collection-event-patch-notes/ https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-spellbound-collection-event-patch-notes/#respond Thu, 05 Jan 2023 17:00:45 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=393357

A limited-time mode returns in the Spellbound Collection Event.

Apex Legends: Spellbound Collection Event Patch Notes

Apex Legend’s Collection Events are limited-time events where players can acquire exclusive Legend and Weapons skins. To start the new year, EA has released the Spellbound Collection Event, which comes with the typical Limited-Time Store Collection offerings you can expect from a Collection Event in Apex Legends.

The devs didn’t stop there, as they also added back a popular Limited-Time Mode in Control, as well as a new game option that finally allows players to host their own Private Matches in Apex Legends.

We have outlined everything you need to know about the Spellbound Limited-Time Event in Apex Legends in this guide.

Control Limited-Time Mode

The Spellbound Collection Event brings back Control – a popular limited-time mode first introduced into Apex Legends back in Season 12, where players take control and hold various zones on the map.

During the Collection Event, players can go on 9 vs. 9 battles in Storm Point: Barometer, World’s Edge: Lava Siphon, and Olympus: Hammon Labs.

If Respawn follows the same update schedule as Season 12, you can expect Control to stay in-game for at least two weeks before it is taken out from the game once again.

Private Matches, Spellbound Collection Event Items, Reward Tracker, and Limited-time Store Offers

Private Matches

The Spellbound Collection Event finally lets players create their own lobbies and mini-tournaments. Players can create Matches and share the lobby’s Tournament Participant Code to join Private Matches.

From the in-game screenshots that Respawn Entertainment have shared via their official patch notes, up to 20 teams can participate in a single Private Match. The devs promise to provide more information through their FAQs before the next patch.

Limited-Time Cosmetics

Aside from the addition of Private Matches, the Spellbound Collection Event has also added 24 limited-time cosmetics, including Legendary skins for Vantage, Seer, Mad Maggie, Mirage, and other Legends.

Players can purchase the limited-time cosmetics through Apex Coins, Crafting Metals, or Event Apex Packs while the Collection Event is up.

Seer’s new Heirloom, named Showstoppers, is also available now and can be unlocked by collecting all 24 Limited-Time Cosmetics.

Reward Tracker

Spellbound also features a Reward Tracker where players can complete challenges and earn points daily. Points players earn in-game will allow them to unlock and acquire various rewards present on the Rewards Tracker page. Earn enough points to unlock an exclusive Lifeline Skin and Prowler Weapon Skin.

Spellbound Limited-time Store Offerings

No Collection Event is complete without limited-time Cosmetic Store offerings. For the Spellbound Collection Event, players can acquire exclusive Legend skins such as Cypto’s Cryptic Conjurer, Mirage’s Mischief Mage, and Bloodhound’s Royal Huntsmaster, among many other exciting cosmetic offerings.

Players can also purchase the Silent Assassin and Sterling Prism bundles from January 13-17 and January 20-24, respectively.

Spellbound Patch Notes

Crafting Rotation

  • G7 Scout enters the crafter
  • C.A.R. SMG enters the crafter
  • Spitfire returns to the floor
  • Peacekeeper returns to the floor

Anvil Receiver Hop-Up

  • Limb damage multiplier reduced to 0.75 from 0.9
  • Flatline damage reduced to 39 from 43
  • R301 damage reduced to 32 from 35

G7 Scout

  • Damage reduced to 32 from 34

Prowler Burst PDW

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed mirage decoys not showing shield regen fx when near a Wattson Pylon or in Control or Gun game modes.
  • 10 new Welcome Challenges added to help new players learn Apex.
  • New “Apex 101” badge reward for completing all 10 Welcome Challenges.
  • Changing characters in the Firing Range now has a smoother third-person transition.
  • Fixed rare issue with Mobile Respawn Beacon sometimes spawning the Dropship out of bounds.
  • Fixed rare issue with ability previews when entering Phase Portals.
  • Doors now always appear as damaged when they’re one melee attack away from being destroyed. Caustic Town Takeover loot canisters now behave more reliably in Control Mode.
  • Reduced VFX of Caustic’s gas flash.
  • Fixed rare client crash with IMC Armories
  • Fixed the raven in Bloodhound’s Niflheim Hundr skin to appear as white more reliably.
  • DirectX 12 beta: added support for the Brightness slider in all Display Modes.
  • DirectX 12 beta: Fixed crash with setting. mat_backbuffer_count “0” in videoconfig. txt settings. Note that Apex Legends running in DirectX 11 (DX11) requires the operating system to use an additional buffer for compositing, which was not counted in mat_backbuffer_count. DX12 includes that required buffer in mat_backbuffer_count, so DX12 in full-screen mode with “1” will be just as low latency as DX11 with “0”.
  • Fixed issue where Crypto could inspect while using their drone removing the HUD.
  • Fixed issue where the lobby tabs would enter an unresponsive state after changing resolution on PC.
  • Adjusted hold and tap logic for controller players viewing weapons in Loadouts to be more responsive.

Apex Legends: How to Logout and Switch Accounts https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-logout-switch-accounts/ https://playerassist.com/apex-legends-logout-switch-accounts/#respond Thu, 24 Nov 2022 18:00:35 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=385385

Looking to start fresh or simply want to switch to your smurf account? Here is how you can do that in Apex Legends Mobile.

Apex Legends: How to Logout and Switch Accounts

Apex Legends Mobile is one of the hottest Battle Royale games on mobile. Apex fans on Android or iOS can now play their favorite Legends and duke it out with hundreds of other players in a mobile experience that captures the original game on the PC or console.

You can log in to one Apex Legends Mobile account at any time. All your in-game progression and items are linked and saved into this account. However, if you’re looking to create and play with a new account, you must log out from your current account and log in using another email address. We will show you how you can do that in this guide.

How to Logout and Login to Apex Legends Mobile

Before you can log out from Apex Legends Mobile, you must first know where to find the logout button.

Unfortunately, the logout button is hidden from the main menu and can only be found in the settings menu. Even then, the logout button is tiny and can easily be missed if you are not looking hard enough.

  1. Launch Apex Legends Mobile and tap on the settings menu:
1 24

2. In the settings menu, look at the upper row of the menu. If you have unclaimed gifts, the logout button will look smaller than it currently does.

3. Tap on the logout button:

4. Tap on “OK” to confirm:

5. The game will log you out of your current activity. At the Apex Legends Mobile splash screen, you can log in from one of two ways – Facebook or Google Login.

6. Tap on “More” to more login options:

7. Type in your credentials to log in to Apex Legends again. You must review the brief tutorial again if you use a new account. On the other hand, if you are logging in to an old personal account or one of your friends’ account, you will be sent to the home screen as normal.

Switching Accounts

Switching accounts in Apex Legends Mobile is surprisingly easy. The only real challenge is knowing where to find the logout button in-game. Fortunately, you can switch accounts in-game as often as you would like, as there do not seem to be any restrictions regarding the number of times you can log out and log in to the game.
