Learn how to get the Rail Gun in Fortnite!

Fortnite: How to Get the Rail Gun

Like always, Fortnite’s new season has brought numerous challenges, skins, and gear. One of the most exciting items introduced for the season, the Railgun is among the most popular.

Although Railguns were available in the previous season, the weapon is still fresh. It lets you deal with enemies even behind walls, causing severe damage with a single shot.

You’re likely wondering how to acquire this death machine, and you aren’t alone. For this reason, we’ve created a detailed guide on getting the Railgun in Fortnite Season 8. Additionally, we’ll explain how to use it and share information on other new noteworthy weapons available in the game.

Fortnite How to Get Rail Gun

Fortnite How to Get Free Skins 6

There are two ways to acquire the Railgun in Fortnite Season 8. The first one is to loot Imagined Order Chests. The second way is to kill some Imagined Order Guards and take the Railgun off their bodies. As you may have guessed, you’ll need to get to an IO Outpost in both cases. They are scattered across the map. Here are the exact locations of IO Outposts in Fortnite Season 8 where you can find some guards and chests:

  • One of the IO Outposts is located between Dirty Docks and Steamy Stacks. It’s overlooking the coast. Sometimes, guards spawn there, but they don’t always stand there.
  • A small IO Outpost is located to the east of Pleasant Park.
  • Another Outpost is located south of Misty Meadows, near the Destined Fish landmark.
  • Guards have a high chance of spawning at an outpost south of Holly Hedges.
  • You may occasionally find guards and chests at the Outpost between Boney Burbs and Corney Crops. Look for the purple marker on the map.

If you clear out the outposts from all guards and loot all chests, you should find at least one Railgun.

How to Use the Rail Gun in Fortnite

Acquiring a Railgun is not enough for victory; you should know how to use it properly.

When using a Railgun, the core strategy is to give yourself enough time to charge it and aim accurately because recharge takes three seconds. This may not seem like a lot, but three seconds is long enough to get killed.

The Railgun deals 85 to 93 damage when you shoot the body and 170 to 188 when you shoot the head. So, always aim to the head for the highest damage output.

Another tip is to avoid your aim while the Railgun is charging. That’s because it emits bright red light when charging, and the enemy may spot you. You’ll know when the Railgun is fully charged because of the charging bar above it. Otherwise, using it is no different from other weapons.

Additional FAQs

What’s New for Fortnite Season 8?

The new season is very different from previous releases in many ways. We won’t get deep into the map and item updates. Instead, let’s take a look at the primary new additions:

• The Sideways has taken over the map. Anomalies from a dark realm have made it to the Island. Large domes appear on the map during the match, and monsters can attack players nearby. So, keep away from the domes unless you feel like your opponents aren’t challenging enough and wish to try your skills in monster fights.

• Some weapons can now be crafted from Cube Monster Parts. The alien invasion has some pros, too. You can acquire the necessary material by defeating monsters arriving from the Sideways and making a Sideways Minigun, Sideways Scythe, or Sideways Rifle from their resources. The new weapons have some pretty impressive stats, so they’re worth fighting a few monsters.

• Alien Mothership crash sites are scattered across the map. These sites are a great resource for looting Shadow Stones.

• IO Guards have moved from bases to outposts. So, finding multiple guards in a single location isn’t as simple as in the previous season.

• Punchcards have returned. This type of challenge is yet another way to earn XP.

• Crows have been introduced, in addition to wildlife that is already familiar to us. We don’t yet know whether they were added solely as a reference to the latest season of Rick & Morty or have some special powers.

What Are Other New Weapons Available in Fortnite Season 8?

The Railgun isn’t the only new weapon available for the season. Here’s a list of all the updates:

• Venom Symbiote

• Sideways Rifle

• Sideways Minigun

• Slone’s Burst Assault Rifle

• Carnage Symbiote

• Sideways Scythe

• Shadow Flopper

• Sideways Minigun

• Sideways Shotgun

• Boss Minigun

Some weapons have also returned from older seasons, such as the Harpoon Gun, Burst Assault Rifle, Charge Shotgun, and Lever Action Rifle. However, apart from the Railgun, the new season’s most exciting and powerful weapons are the Rocket Launcher, Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle, and Sideways Minigun.

The Rocket Launcher isn’t a new weapon, yet it remains one of the most desired in the game. It can deal severe damage to multiple enemies simultaneously with a single shot, the only con being a long reload. The Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle, in turn, lets you eliminate opponents from a distance by setting them on fire. Despite being a “mini” gun, the Sideways Minigun can shred through opponent builds, dealing 21 damage per bullet with a fire rate of seven. It also gets bonus damage when hot.

Take Your Shot

Hopefully, you’ll get lucky and soon find a Railgun in one of the few IO Outposts. Spotting IO Guards isn’t as simple anymore as they aren’t gathered in the same prominent location, but this makes the game even more interesting. Let’s see what other new weapons will be introduced throughout the season.

Vader is Just ‘Vibin’’ in New Cinematic Trailer for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 https://playerassist.com/vader-is-just-vibin-in-new-cinematic-trailer-for-fortnite-chapter-3-season-3/ https://playerassist.com/vader-is-just-vibin-in-new-cinematic-trailer-for-fortnite-chapter-3-season-3/#respond Mon, 06 Jun 2022 06:51:13 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=352846

Fortnite is gearing up for the third chapter of Season 3, and they’ve announced it in spectacular fashion with a new trailer as well as confirmation for one of the biggest characters coming to the game—Darth Vader.

Vader is Just ‘Vibin’’ in New Cinematic Trailer for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

Watch the cinematic preview for Chapter 3, Season 3 of Fortnite:

Here’s the official description:

In Chapter 3 Season 3: Vibin’, the Island is one giant party. Bounce around in Reality Falls, ride atop creatures, brave the Screwballer coaster, and revel with new arsenal.

Drop into Season 3 and spread the good vibes! Bring good and evil together with this Season’s Battle Pass. In addition to Darth Vader himself, the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass includes the anti-hero Evie, the defender Adira, and five more Outfits. Speaking of assembling Outfits, customize the parts of living action figure “Snap”! Later on in the Season? Unlock world famous archaeologist Indiana Jones. Play Your Way!

Though Vader did get the spotlight here, we don’t have a look at Indiana Jones, who was present in the gameplay trailer. We don’t know when Indy comes to the game, but it’s very likely he’s supposed to have some brand synergy with the release of the fifth Indiana Jones movie.

Besides all that, the season also looks to be bringing back the Baller, which has been given some upgrades since we last got it. Now it can floar on water, and you can take one on a roller coaster.  Here’s a better look at that via the Gameplay trailer:

Fortnite is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Fortnite Teases the Arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi https://playerassist.com/fortnite-teases-the-arrival-of-obi-wan-kenobi/ https://playerassist.com/fortnite-teases-the-arrival-of-obi-wan-kenobi/#respond Tue, 10 May 2022 03:22:24 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=346236

Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to premiere later this month, and it looks like Fortnite is getting in on the Star Wars hype. From Star Wars Day May 4 until the 17th, the game has decided to make available all the previous Star Wars material that released in the game—and then some.

Fortnite Teases the Arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi

Watch this:

While we don’t have a look at Kenobi in the game yet, the game is bringing back characters from The Rise of Skywalker like KyloRen, Zorii Blizz, Finn, Rey, and a Sith Trooper. We also have some faces from The Book of Boba Fett with Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Black Krrsantan, and an Imperial Stormtrooper.

The event also comes with some special missions that allow you to earn XP enough to earn an Imperial banner. You’l have missions that will tell you ‘confiscate Jedi contraband’ (or a lightsaber) or ‘confiscate a landspeeder’ (or a vehicle). Since the 17th is still a week away, we should get a variety of other goods down the line—maybe finally get that Obi-Wan character reveal. I have no doubt that they would also bring in Darth Vader too.

With Fortnite getting all that sweet Marvel marketing synergy, you can bet that their deal with Disney also includes a massive property like Star Wars. While Kenobi and Vader are already familiar characters, I’m crossing my fingers we get some new faces like the Inquisitors as well.

The Star Wars event only runs until May 17.

Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres on May 27 on Disney+. Fortnite is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and PC.

The collaboration between Marvel and Fortnite continues. As fans enjoy Moon Knight on its current run on Disney+, the Fist of Khonshu has arrived in the Fortnite item shop.

Source: Marvel

This official description comes from Marvel.com:

There is chaos inside you…and it’s time to embrace it!

Enacting justice for those traveling at night, Moon Knight is available now in the Fortnite Item Shop! This fist of Khonshu is willing to enact justice whether day or night on the Island, but for those a little more suave, you can switch to the Mr. Knight Style in the Locker.

Besides getting access to Moon Knight and Mr. Knight, the item shop will also allow players to get access to Moon Knight’s cape as back bling; his weapons the Crescent Darts Pickaxe will also be available in the shop for some more moon-themed violence.

While the character of Moon Knight has been around for a while, it’s only now that he’s starting to get recognized by the general audience thanks to the Disney+ show. We don’t know what other Marvel characters we should expect to come to Fortnite in the future, but I suspect that Epic Games will release them alongside the premiere of their series on Disney+. What are the odds She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel would be coming to the game soon?

Fortnite is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS. Moon Knight is currently on its first season run on Disney+.

Fortnite is one of the most popular online games for numerous reasons. Besides being available across multiple platforms (including PS4), players can upgrade using different cosmetic items, including skins.

Fortnite: How to Get Free Skins

Fortnite often collaborates on these skins with big names from popular culture and movie franchises, which makes the skins even more appealing. Although skins do not impact your performance in the game and have a purely aesthetic effect, they have nonetheless become trendy.

Most gaming cosmetic tools often require you to open up your wallet and spend some V-Bucks (Fortnite currency). But if you are wondering how to get free skins in Fortnite (or whether that is even possible), you have come to the right place. This article will discuss everything you need to know about free skins available in Fortnite.

Fortnite How to Get Free Skins PS4

There are various ways of getting free skins in Fortnite on PS4, but it is important to note they are usually time-limited and require you to participate in a challenge. Another option is to enable two-factor identification and win free items, including skins.

Quests

Fortnite organizes events that give you a chance to win cosmetic items. These events are occasional and require you to show a certain skill level to win awards.

Battle Pass

Battle Pass is a feature that enables players to unlock different cosmetic items and win free skins. But, here’s the catch: you need to purchase the Battle Pass to get a chance to win. A battle pass costs 950 V-Bucks (around $10) and lasts for one season.

In addition to winning free and exclusive cosmetic items, you can also earn V-Bucks. If you reach level 100, you can win up to 1,000 V-Bucks, enough to purchase a Battle Pass for the next season.

BattlePass holders also get access to more challenges, thus increasing the chances of winning free skins.

Two-Factor Authentication

Fortnite developers (EpicGames) encourage players to protect their accounts by offering free items once they set up the two-factor authentication.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Go to the EpicGames website and sign in to your account.

Besides receiving free skins, subscribing to PlayStation Plus has numerous perks such as exclusive game content, discounts, storage, etc.

Fortnite How to Get Free Skins Xbox One

Fortnite How to Get Free Skins 5

There are multiple ways to get free skins in Fortnite on your Xbox One. However, note that you will have to take some action to get them.

Quests

One way of receiving free skins is participating in different events and quests. The quests are randomly organized throughout one season, so follow the website to stay in the loop.

The developers also organize Character Cups several times per season, enabling you to win skins before release. The Cups are also time-limited and random.

Battle Pass

Battle Pass holders enjoy various perks, including the chance to win V-Bucks and free cosmetic items. Plus, if you have a Battle Pass, you will have access to more challenges and quests.

One Battle Pass lasts for one season, and it costs 950 V-Bucks. After the season ends, you will need to purchase a pass. Whether the Battle Pass is worth it, its price depends on what you want from the game. If you see it as a social experience, a chance to win rewards by completing challenges, and enjoy customizing your experience, Battle Pass is an excellent addition.

As you level up, you will receive different rewards.

Two-Factor Authentication

Keep your EpicGames account protected and get a reward for it. The prizes change from time to time. The two-factor authentication adds extra protection to your account and keeps intruders away even if they guess your password.

Here is how to set up the two-factor authentication:

  1. Visit the EpicGames website and sign in to your account.

  2. Select “ACCOUNT” from the drop-down menu under Profile.

Fortnite How to Get Free Skins Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch users can win free skins in Fortnite in multiple ways.

Quests

Occasional events, cups, and quests give you a chance to win numerous cosmetic items, including free skins. The events are organized several times during one season. Sometimes, you will be required to complete challenges; other times, you will be ranked based on your performance.

Since many skins are only available for a particular season, these events are always time-limited.

Whenever a new skin is scheduled to be released, you will get a chance to participate in Character Cups and win it before it’s available in the shop.

Battle Pass

With every new season, you get a chance to purchase a Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks. The pass offers numerous perks, including a chance to win exclusive skins and other rewards. As you level up, you will have access to more cosmetic items and a chance to win more money. You could earn enough money to purchase the next season’s Battle Pass.

Two-Factor Authentication

Keeping your account and purchased items protected from intruders is essential. EpicGames recognizes the need for additional protection and offers two-factor authentication. To encourage players to set it up, EpicGames offers free items. Keep in mind the rewards change occasionally.

Follow these instructions to set up two-factor authentication:

  1. Visit the EpicGames website and sign in to your account.
  2. Open the account page.
  3. Click “Password & Security.”
  4. Select one of the three options under “Two-Factor Authentication.” You can choose between Authenticator App, SMS Authentication, or Email Authentication.

Here is a list of the top 10 rarest skins in Fortnite:

1. Aerial Assault Trooper – This skin was available only during the first Fortnite Season, which means only the earliest players have it. It was available for 1,200 V-Bucks at level 15.

9. The Reaper – This skin was available in Chapter 1, Season 3. It was a reward for Battle Pass holders that reached level 100, making it extremely rare. The skin is similar to the John Wick skin featured in the Item Shop multiple times.

10. Dark Voyager – Like the Reaper, this skin made its appearance in Chapter 1, Season 3, which was the only time it was available. Players had to reach level 70 to get it.

Win the Game With Style

Fortnite: ‘No Build’ Mode could be Here to Stay https://playerassist.com/fortnite-no-build-mode-could-be-here-to-stay/ https://playerassist.com/fortnite-no-build-mode-could-be-here-to-stay/#respond Fri, 25 Mar 2022 03:49:05 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=264257

Fortnite had been given a major shake-up when Building was removed from the default mode, and while there are people who like the feature, it looks like ‘No Building’ will be the default moving forward.

Fortnite: ‘No Build’ Mode could be Here to Stay

As per @HYPEX on Twitter, data-miners have found that Fortnite will keep its ‘No Building’ mode. Here is the post:

Another leaker, @TweaBR, also says ‘No Build’ mode will also be available for Solo, Dio, Trios, and Squads:

https://twitter.com/TweaBR/status/1505951298193178624?s=20&t=ZNKZQe4XLz3jG6MXWzZzrQ

Though Building looks essential to the complete Fortnite experience, many players are relieved the mode is finally being removed from the game. If anything, some are even saying they are re-installing the game. Now that it is going around, the ‘No Building’ option is here to stay. Players will now have to rely on tactics rather than constantly building fortresses around themselves during matches.

Epic Games is yet to give an official update on the ‘No Building’ status, but IGN speculates we will have some news by May—around when the current season ends. In the meantime, players online have praised the ‘No Building’ mode and hope it stays for good.

Join the Resistance in the final battle to free the Zero Point!

Take on your opponents in the ultimate battle for the Zero Point in Chapter 3, Season 2: Resistance! The IO has lined up guards and sky stations, but the Resistance is equipped with new tactics like sprinting, mantling, etc
. Board an Armored Battle Bus as a powerful force or attach a Cow Catcher to your truck for extra ramming power.

Fortnite is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC.

Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Coming to Fortnite? https://playerassist.com/assassins-creeds-ezio-coming-to-fortnite/ https://playerassist.com/assassins-creeds-ezio-coming-to-fortnite/#respond Wed, 02 Mar 2022 09:05:07 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=259697

Fortnite has been a great sandbox to add several different IP characters in the game, from DC and Marvel heroes to other gaming greats like Kratos from God of War. Now it looks like one other video game icon is making its way into the hit Battle Royale game.

Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Coming to Fortnite?

Dataminer @ShiinaBR has shared that Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed has been spotted hidden within the game’s files:

We don’t have any idea when Epic Games plans to put Ezio in the game, but Assassin’s Creed does hit its 15th anniversary this year. It’s possible that we could be getting Ezio in Fortnite come November—the same month that the first Assassin’s Creed game launched back in 2007.

If anything, Fortnite has become the perfect avenue to market characters for kids. They had introduced a bunch of Marvel characters and weapons around the time that Avengers: Endgame came out, and just recently they brought in two versions of Nathan Drake to coincide with the release of Uncharted the movie.

If you ask me, there are probably going to be more character drops throughout the year. Maybe they can bring in Moon Knight when the series launches later this month. We also know that Batman is in the game, so maybe they’ll release a skin based on the new movie soon? It’s just a guess.

Ezio hasn’t been officially announced for Fortnite, but my guess is he comes out sometime around November. Fortnite is now playable for PS4, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Becoming A Pro Builder In Fortnite https://playerassist.com/becoming-a-pro-builder-in-fortnite/ https://playerassist.com/becoming-a-pro-builder-in-fortnite/#respond Sat, 08 Jan 2022 17:50:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=207993

Fortnite isn’t like any of the battle royales out there. Yes – it does have your standard shooting and the run-of-the-mill quest for survival until you’re the last one standing but there’s more to it than meets the eye. A huge portion of the game is dedicated to building. Those who are considered as the best of the best in the game are master builders that can get in and out of combat very quickly.

Becoming A Pro Builder In Fortnite

One of the facts you’ll eventually learn in Fornite is that the most accurate of players are often outplayed by those who can build structures very quickly. Building is one of the most vital skills to have in Fortnite but it’s also one of the toughest to master. Being able to build walls between you and your foes is never enough so here are some tips to become a better builder.

Gather First

Before you even think about building, the very first thing you should do is begin stocking up on materials first. The good thing is that it’s very easy to it. All you need to do is swing your pickaxe at a structure or at a tree and the resources will come automatically. Since you can carry a ton of the materials with you, it’s never wrong to hoard as much as you can.

2021092302432300 F489C99A244DF57DCBDC4BFD2DB926F1 1

While it can be risky, it’s often best to land in areas that are abundant in structures. This will help you get as many materials as you can. Just make sure to steer clear of other players first when you swing your pickaxe as this can make enough noise to draw them towards your location.

2021092302450300 F489C99A244DF57DCBDC4BFD2DB926F1

Remember to look out for highlighted spots on structures and trees. Hitting these will give you double the materials as well so they’re worth the trouble. Most importantly, make sure you move as you swing your pickaxe. If you keep stable, you risk putting yourself in harms way.

Be Nimble

A rookie mistake in Fortnite is forgetting that you don’t have to stand still while you build. Once you initiate the process of constructing something, you can move away as it will begin building itself then and there. A good technique when being chased by an enemy is to build a wall in front of you, step back a bit and then begin building a new wall again.

2021092302454900 F489C99A244DF57DCBDC4BFD2DB926F1 1

When you’re building a ramp, you can begin stepping on it the moment the structure is starting to form. You don’t have to wait for the structure to finish building before you step on ramps. That being said, walls that are being built can already provide protection for you as well.

Shift To Builder Pro Controls

Those playing on PC have it easier because there are a lot of key bindings to make building easier. Sadly, PC players are really at an advantage because of their control scheme. That doesn’t mean that console players have no chance at being pro builders of course. What’s great about Fortnite on consoles is that you can adjust your control scheme to fit your needs.

2021092302432300 F489C99A244DF57DCBDC4BFD2DB926F1

If you head to the settings, you can see an option called the Builder Pro within the menu. What this does is that it allows you to change between building and combat modes very easily. The Builder Pro control scheme will take some time to get used to but it’s going to be worth it once you’re able to get to master how this works.

Start Small

Once you’ve mastered the art of gathering, it’s time to move on to the actual building. You shouldn’t aim for building complex structures just yet. Instead, go for small structures. The concept of “four walls and a roof” is always a good start. If you’re in a pinch, surrounding yourself with walls to recuperate for the meantime can be more than enough to save your life.

2021092302444300 F489C99A244DF57DCBDC4BFD2DB926F1

Before you move on to more complex structures, make sure that you’re already well acquainted with building. Make sure that you’ve already gotten the movements mastered is what we mean.

Building’s Just The Start

It’s easy to forget that building a wall or a ramp is just the basics of building. One of the most underutilized abilities in Fortnite is editing. Even when the structure is already made, you can still edit it to fit your needs. You can add a window for shooting or you can also cover up holes just in case you want to fortify your structure. Editing can help you fortify the structures you’ve built out of panic as you are running away from opponents.

If you’re planning on holding out until the last circle, then editing is going to be your best friend. You can adjust your structure to fit your needs. For instance, you can begin patching up walls while you set up a good perch to snipe opponents in.

These are some of the best building tips you need to know when playing Fortnite. Remember, being able to build is often better than having good aim in this battle royale. The faster and more accurate you are at building, the harder it will be for opponents to gain an advantage against you.

How to Get the Alien Off your Head in Fortnite https://playerassist.com/fortnite-get-alien-off-head/ https://playerassist.com/fortnite-get-alien-off-head/#respond Fri, 12 Nov 2021 17:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=210589

If you’ve ever wondered how the pesky aliens in Fortnite got onto your head, and you don’t want them there, you’re in luck. The Alien Parasites indeed give you a few advantages, but there are also cons to letting them stay on you. Thankfully, there are a few ways to address the situation.

How to Get the Alien Off your Head in Fortnite

There are at least three ways to get them off your head. Some involve self-damage, while others don’t cause any harm. Keep on reading to find out more.

Using Water

The best way to get rid of these annoying Alien Parasites is to jump into some water. They’ll release you immediately, though you’ll also have to get away from them or kill them to avoid reattachment.

Since there are plenty of rivers on the map right now, this method is undisputedly the best.

Get Into a Prop

If you don’t have any water nearby, look for a Port-a-Potty or Dumpster instead. Typically, players already use them to hide from enemies. In the case of an attached Alien Parasite, they’re a godsend as well.

Entering into one of these objects will result in the Alien Parasite falling off as well.

Use Fire

The Alien Parasites are scared of fire, and if there’s a lit campfire nearby, all you have to do is walk into it. The heat will force the parasite off, and you can use this chance to kill it.

Use an Inflate-a-Bull

This unique item lets you bounce around the map as long as the gauge isn’t empty. Upon deploying the Inflate-a-Bull, the Alien Parasite is forced off. Use this opportunity to run away.

As the Inflate-a-Bull covers your whole body, it makes forcing these creatures away possible.

Get Abducted

If you’re keen on participating in the Experiment, you can always let an Abductor take you away. The Alien Parasite doesn’t get to tag along. However, you don’t get to run free until the Experiment ends.

Alien Parasite Benefits

Even though these critters reduce your total health when they’re on you, they offer the following benefits:

  • Increased head protection, making headshots non-fatal unless repeated
  • Faster running speed and increased jump height

In short, you can afford to play more aggressively with the Alien Parasite on your head. However, you have less health, and fall damage still kills you. Weigh the pros and cons, and you may find that having an Alien Parasite isn’t as bad as you first thought. Of course, the final decision is entirely up to you.

No Thanks, I’m Better Off Alone

The Alien Parasite’s benefits aren’t substantial, but some people enjoy the speed and jump boosts. Even so, players can always opt to get it away from them. Just remember to recover lost health after they’re gone.

Were you surprised when you first saw these creatures? What do you think about the buffs they give? Please tell us what you think in the comments section below.

How To Level Up Your Battle Pass Fast In Fortnite https://playerassist.com/how-to-level-up-your-battle-pass-fast-in-fortnite/ https://playerassist.com/how-to-level-up-your-battle-pass-fast-in-fortnite/#respond Mon, 27 Sep 2021 17:13:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=208351

One of the ways Epic Games keeps players busy in Fortnite is by giving them a new battle pass each season. Simply put, a battle pass is a rewards system where players can unlock surprises such as new dance emotes, pickaxes, skins, and many others. The catch is each battle pass is tied to a season, meaning it can last for up to 10 weeks at the very least.

It can be easy to miss out on great opportunities to level up your battle pass. There are two battle pass tiers. There’s a free basic battle pass that offers minimal rewards. If you spend 950 V-Bucks, however, you can unlock a new tier of rewards, including those amazing exclusive skins. Ten weeks is usually more than enough to go through all those battle pass levels, but if you’re struggling, here are some tips you might want to consider.

Pass The Time With Daily Challenges

If you play Fortnite every day, it shouldn’t be a problem to finish your dailies regularly. If you look at the bottom of your quest list, you’ll find three green quests. These are quests that refresh every day. They involve simple tasks such as searching chests, harvesting materials, and catching fish.

Each daily quest will give you 17,000 XP, so that’s a total of 51,000 XP per day. However, you can only get 1,700 XP from these quests. To make matters even better, you receive a new search each time you finish a daily quest. Remember that the daily reset happens at 7 am PT / 10 am ET / 3 pm BST each day, so log in regularly.

Always Do Your Missions

Back in the old days, you had to shell out extra V-Bucks to unlock missions that, when completed, would give you a ton of XP for your battle pass. Epic Games has since done away with this practice, and now, you get a set of weekly missions for free. Completing your weekly missions throughout the battle pass is enough to get you to the highest level.

Each of the missions you get in Fortnite will net you 30,000 XP. As there are 12 quests per week, you can earn 420,000 XP just by completing all of them. The missions aren’t too complex, and they involve tasks such as dealing a certain amount of damage with a specific weapon or even building a certain amount of a specific structure.

To maximize your XP, focus on completing the Legendary Quests first. These are harder quests, but they net you more XP. The catch is that Legendary Quests are only around a week after they appear. By comparison, you can do regular weekly quests whenever you want to the moment they become available.

Complete Your Punchcards

Returning this season in Fortnite are punchcards. This feature allows you to get a headstart on your battle pass by completing specific quests related to NPCs. You can score as much as 20,000 XP per NPC. There are six punchcards to complete each season, and completing them all instantly rewards you with over 100,000 XP.

Additionally, you can also do Character Punchcards. These are initiated by talking to specific NPCs around the Fortnite map. The hard part is getting to them safely. Once you initiate the quest, however, you’ll see that the NPCs will give you simple tasks that will reward you with a ton of XP.

Play With Friends

There are a lot of benefits to playing with a squad in Fortnite. One is that they can help you finish your quests when you’re gunning for the highest rewards in the battle pass.

However, you need to remember that not all battle pass quests can be finished with a party. You should look for ones that are tagged with Party Assists. These are quests that can be done with the help of others – which is a huge weight off your shoulders.

Win Games

Everyone aims at getting a Victory Royale in Fortnite for many reasons. Scoring a Victory Royale will give you 300 XP, but that’s just the start. The more opponents you take out during the match, the higher your XP rewards will be. If you want to max out your battle pass, you have more reason to go for each game’s top spot.

That said, if you strive for a higher XP reward at the end of each game, you must play more aggressively. However, if you aren’t used to that style and just want the win – rotate around the circle and let the other players finish off each other first. Once the last few players begin duking it out, you begin to fight back.

Finishing a Fortnite battle pass is very rewarding, especially if you consider that the skins from this rewards system are time-limited. Many players believe that ten weeks is more than enough to complete a battle pass, so don’t feel too much pressure, as you will eventually catch up to it as long as you focus on your daily missions.
