Learn more about seeds and locate them in a server in this Minecraft guide.

How To Find the Seed of a Server in Minecraft

Seeds determine the kind of world you will be transported into. Although similar, each newly generated world in Minecraft is distinct and entirely different from the one before. Some worlds are more convenient than others, and some are also quite challenging due to the structure of the terrain. Using seeds allows players to duplicate the world that they’re in and share it with others. Read on to learn more about seeds and how to find them in Minecraft.

What is a Minecraft Server Seed?

A Minecraft Seed is a code that controls how a world’s landscape and everything in it will generate. These values shape the design of the world to be generated. This includes the biomes, the structures, and even the spawn mobs.

Seed option during world creation

When you input the seed of your current world into a newly generated one, the world to be generated will look exactly like your current one. In this manner, you can easily share your world with your friends.

How to Search the Seed of a Server in Minecraft

For Minecraft Java Edition

Using the chat box to issue in-game commands is the easiest way to identify what the seed of a server is. However, this method only works if you are an admin of the server. Regular players without any admin rights cannot proceed with the following steps.

  1. Open Minecraft and load the world you want to find the seed of.
  2. Once inside the game, open the command console by pressing “/.”
  3. Then type the “/seed” command on the console and hit “Enter.”
  4. When the world seed pops up in the chat, copy the entire code and paste it into the seed text box during world creation.

For Minecraft Bedrock Edition

Although it is the same game, the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft is somewhat different from the Java Edition. One thing that makes them different is that the “/seed” command doesn’t work on Bedrock Edition.

To find your world seed on Minecraft Bedrock Edition, load into the game and open your settings menu. Then click on the Game tab and scroll down until you find the Seed category. Below it, you will find your current world seed.

For Minecraft Multiplayer

In a Multiplayer world, in default settings, single-player commands are disabled. This means that unless you are an admin of that multiplayer server, using commands such as “/seed” will not work. However, for in-game server operators, regular commands are all enabled.

If you want to copy a multiplayer Minecraft server world and transfer it to a new single-player world file, use the World Downloader mod. You will find a “Download this world” button on the game menu when this mod is active. Simply download the world file to create a single-player version of your multiplayer server’s world.

For a Minecraft Multiplayer server without OP

If you are not an operator of the multiplayer server, you cannot locate the server’s world seed. The only other way to know the world seed of the server is to request other players with server settings access to give you the server’s seed.

In normal circumstances, private servers usually do not allow random players to join the server unless invited. Regular players and even those with admin permissions in the server will still be unable to locate the seed unless given by an operator.

For a Minecraft Multiplayer Server without admin rights

If you aren’t having any luck getting the seed from the players with admin powers, using a mod to download the world and get the seed from there would work. Mods such as MultiMC and World Downloader will help.

  1. Open the MultiMC website, choose the appropriate option, and click to download MultiMC.
  2. Use an application such as WinRAR and extract the contents of the archive file.
  3. Launch the MultiMC installer.
  4. Continue with the setup process until the application is installed.
  5. Once installed, open MultiMC and click on New Instance to create a separate instance of Minecraft. Ensure that your game is updated and matches the instance’s version.
  6. Then download the World Downloader mod.
  7. Once downloaded, open the MultiMC settings to edit your instance and click on Add to Minecraft.jar.
  8. Locate the archive file and select the World Downloader mod.
  9. Run the game using your modded MultiMC instance.
  10. Click on Multiplayer and join your desired server.
  11. Then, explore the map as far as possible to load the chunks inside the game. Take note that the World Downloader mod will only download loaded chunks.
  12. When finished, pause the game and click Download this world in the pause menu.
  13. Exit from the online Minecraft server and open the newly downloaded world in single-player.
  14. Open the command console in the game and type “/seed” to obtain the world’s seed.

Top 5 Shaders To Use in Minecraft 1.19 https://playerassist.com/top-5-shaders-use-minecraft-1-19/ https://playerassist.com/top-5-shaders-use-minecraft-1-19/#respond Wed, 31 May 2023 19:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=400022

A list of the five best shaders you can use in Minecraft 1.19.

Top 5 Shaders To Use in Minecraft 1.19

Minecraft is one of the most popular video games in the world and has been around for over a decade. It allows players to explore and create their worlds using blocks, tools, and other items.

Do you want to enhance and upgrade your visuals in the game? You only need to install shaders in Minecraft because it is an impressive gaming experience you can never imagine when you play!

Minecraft Shaders

Shaders are great visual effects that give Minecraft improved graphic gameplay. It will make your Minecraft world come alive with vibrant colors and shading when you are playing.

It is no secret that Minecraft does not have the best graphics. Minecraft has always had a very simple look to play. It is an awesome experience that the different pixel textures look so good when you combine them with the dynamic real-time lighting, ray-traced shadows, and volumetric fog of a top-tier shader pack.

Minecraft shaders have already been there for so many years now. Each one gives a slightly different feel in the quest to turn your Minecraft worlds into fantastic, impressive works of art gameplay.

Though it has a common blocky and pixelated texture, not everyone would like it. Fortunately, the game’s large community has released several third-party mods and features that completely change the game’s look.

Read: 5 Best Tips to Lower Lag in Minecraft

Your choice comes with deciding on a shader pack to use in the game because, unlike Minecraft texture packs, you can’t layer shader packs on top of one another to combine their effects.

Most shaders focus more on lighting, others on the sea, and others on weather effects. Some are lightweight and performant, while others are behemoths that require top-tier PCs to run on max settings.

To help you choose your shaders for good gameplay and get you started in the awesome and impressive world of Minecraft shaders, we have compiled a perfect list of the best shaders you can currently use with the latest version of Minecraft, version 1.19.

Below you can see the different shaders that suit your fantastic Minecraft shader packs, and choose the lighting makeover that is the best fit for a survival world!

1. Complementary Shaders

Complementary Shaders is one of the best shaders to use in Minecraft. It is designed for the users to give “the most impressive experience in gameplay.” This shader has a good FPS while doing visual changes and is mod-friendly, with just as much opportunity for customization.

Whether you choose BSL or Complementary comes purely down to preference in the game. Awesome choice for showing off your latest Minecraft gameplay and builds!

The shader pack can also be optionally paired with a Complementary Resource Pack, though you can, of course, use this shader pack alongside any resource pack you desire. It looks great and awesome for this pack and is particularly stunning when you play.

2. Sildur’s Vibrant

image 2023 03 06 195842030

Sildur’s Shaders is also a trendy and excellent shader pack. This shader pack gives Minecraft a much-needed and incredibly comprehensive makeover, and it’s also made a name for itself as one of the most customizable and useful shader packs that you can change anything you want.

Every shader pack on this list is beautiful and quite useful to play. But with this shader, it’s very easy to play and spend hours to achieve the perfect look for you and your Minecraft world. Sildur’s shaders can also download different levels of shaders based on their PC specs.

So no matter how long you play, your specs will still be able to run Sildur’s smoothly. And even at maximum settings, Sildur’s is remarkably lightweight and scores massive points for performance compared to most other Minecraft shader packs.

3. BSL

image 2023 03 06 200004656
Image SourceL CurseForge

BSL Shaders are beautiful and one of the oldest and most popular ones that players use. This is the shader pack you will always return to for survival worlds.

These shaders have always been among the most popular shaders in the world, and it’s easy to see because most included are amazing depth of field effects to the warm, sun lights, the awesome water reflections, and the fluffy clouds to a place that you could almost imagine to be Minecraft.

The awesome array of customizable options allows BSL Shaders to run on various machines. It tends to run better on high-end rigs than any other shaders.

But with these updates and challenges in the game, competition is harder than ever for the title of best Minecraft shader pack, and BSL may no longer be the undisputed king but rather one of several strong contenders.

4. SEUS

cPHcRnyKJvSpMQjtwqwtfT

Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders, or SEUS for short, is where most players who have played with Minecraft shaders have started. This shader pack is very clean and gives off the familiar Minecraft look. It makes wandering about a village look gorgeous.

SEUS Renewed is a recent reinvention of the original versions of SEUS, which focuses on striking a strong balance between quality and performance. It’s a different feature level of customization from shader packs like BSL.

However, you are guaranteed that things will look perfect and awesome right out of the gate. The skies and sun are bright and perfect, the shadows add a new level of depth to the world, and the gentle flapping of the leaves in the wind helps you to make it feel like you’re in a realistic game and have a great big survival experience.

5. Redhat

637513468815718507 wall

RedHat Shaders are based on the Chocapic13 Shaders, so the two shader packs look very similar indeed. Both give Minecraft’s landscapes a great neat lighting and shadow overhaul. However, RedHat Shaders pushes the boat further with extra toggleable features like god rays, lens flares, film grain, light absorption through water, and more.

There’s certainly a lot to like about RedHat Shaders, although, with all the extra bells and whistles, it’s not exactly the most well-optimized shader pack on this list.

But it makes up for this with a good set of customization options that allow you to tone down or turn off various effects to stay focused on the lovely sharp shadows, warm sunlight, and swaying leaves.

5 Things You Need To Know About the Minecraft Archaeology Update https://playerassist.com/5-things-need-know-archaeology-minecraft-1-20/ https://playerassist.com/5-things-need-know-archaeology-minecraft-1-20/#respond Wed, 31 May 2023 18:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=399434

Here are the top 5 things you must know about the upcoming 1.20 Minecraft Archaeology update!

5 Things You Need To Know About the Minecraft Archaeology Update

Mojang has announced to gamers that they will release the archaeology game theme in the Minecraft 1.20 update. This was announced in 2020 when the game had the Caves and Cliffs update.

Since it was finally teased during the 2020 release of the Caves and Cliffs Update, players have been eagerly anticipating and waiting for the addition of the Minecraft archaeology feature in Minecraft.

And one of the important key elements of the upcoming Minecraft 1.20 Update has been formally unveiled. It will enable users to use a brand-new instrument to unearth archeological treasures beneath the sands of desert biomes.

The Archaeology Update

Players can also use a new brush tool to excavate historical artifacts and other items buried deep in Minecraft’s deserts. They can excavate new pottery shards that can be used to craft decorative pots and various other items.

Read: Top 5 Minecraft Streamers in 2023

The players need to be careful when digging up a dig site in Minecraft. Once a suspicious block of sandstone has been excavated, players must carefully clean the area with a brush, exposing items such as pottery shards that they can use to craft pots.

The 1.20 update is shaping up to be a major addition to the game that includes many highly anticipated features and some adorable mobs, useful plants, new transport methods, and blocks. Every feature in Minecraft archaeology in the 1.20 update.

Mojang Studios confirmed in their latest blog post that the confirmed version of archaeology was the first of its type.

Although this frequently indicates the presence of bugs, glitches, and other technical issues, the community can still actively help and assist the development team in making it play perfectly and update before its official release, thanks to the game’s snapshot, beta, preview, and experience visions.

The developers recently released an article that reveals all the information about it. This article contains a few points to remember. Here are all the features that Mojang’s most recent blog post disclosed today.

1. Desert temples to become the first dig site

1 6

Mojang finally released that desert temples are the first site where players can find new blocks and obtain hidden items.

These structures are among the game’s oldest and most uninteresting constructions for much of Minecraft’s history. Even new players know how to avoid the trap and find loot, and they haven’t gotten any updates in years. But they will now be enhanced by a new element.

2. New suspicious sand block

1 7

In the latest update, Mojang showed that common blocks like dirt, sand, and many more could be brushed to reveal new archaeological items. But, the developers have changed some of the mechanics by adding completely new blocks that need to be brushed.

Read: Top 5 Villager Trades for Emeralds in 2023

An addition called Suspicious Sand will be present and generated only in new desert temples. Even though there was no data about Suspicious Sand, we have seen several sand blocks in Mojang’s images with a distinct texture.

But, by including entirely new blocks that must be stroked, the developers have slightly changed the gameplay mechanics. As a result, a new addition of Suspicious Sand will only be found in desert temples.

3. New tool called a brush will be added

The Minecraft 1.20 archaeology latest update also adds a new brush tool, as seen in the early clip from 2020. It will be the default option for revealing the things tucked away in special blocks.

But nothing has been disclosed yet regarding the recipe for making the brush, how to use it, or more. Players must use a brush to properly clean the area after unearthing a suspicious sandstone block to disclose objects like pottery shards that enable them to create pots.

4. Pottery shards and pots

image 2023 03 03 124547707

The latest added made by the developers in the Minecraft archaeology update will be the new crafting pot bricks and pottery fragments. The shards will be awesome artifacts that can only be found at this certain dig sites.

Read: Top 5 Best Mining Tips in Minecraft 1.19

Players can also use and combine four of them once they have several of them to make a pot, even though it is unknown how to make them or what the formula is.

These unique shards will have four different kinds of patterns: a diamond, a skeleton skull, a bow with an arrow drawn, and a stick man standing with their arms up.

5. Archaeology update will soon be showcased in upcoming snapshots and beta previews

The current gameplay iteration will probably experience numerous changes leading up to the 1.20 update’s official release; the post also confirmed that these new features would shortly be available for preview in a coming snapshot.

Well, this is only a portion of what players can anticipate from the upcoming significant update to Minecraft, as developer Mojang has hinted that other features may soon be disclosed on its official social media platforms.

That is everything we know about Minecraft 1.20 archaeology, including its possible features like dig site, suspicious block, and more. However, nothing is set in stone for now, so it would be ideal to wait for Mojang’s confirmation on these elements.

And also, Java Edition players can simply download snapshots by selecting the version in the official game launcher. Bedrock Edition users can search for it in the store app of the device they play on.

The 1.20 update is shaping up to be an important addition to the game, as it brings many highly anticipated features along with some adorable mobs, useful plants, new methods of transportation, and many more things for your upcoming adventures on this newest and exciting update. With talk of armor customization floating around and archaeology thrown into the mix, players can expect something grand from Mojang when the new update finally releases. And all you need to do is wait for this update’s upcoming release.

It is the perfect build for those who play on Minecraft roleplay servers. To make one of these unique builds, you need to start with a body of mostly green wool and green concrete for more nature vibes, with a little bit of wood thrown in, and then add the legs.

How To Craft Netherite Pickaxe in Minecraft 1.19 https://playerassist.com/craft-netherite-pickaxe-minecraft-1-19/ https://playerassist.com/craft-netherite-pickaxe-minecraft-1-19/#respond Sun, 28 May 2023 17:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=401212

Minecraft has many unique tools that the players can use to make their lives easier during the game, and the Pickaxe is one of the most useful and very important tools. The netherite pickaxe is one of the most unique tools a player can have.

How To Craft Netherite Pickaxe in Minecraft 1.19

Furthermore, netherite is the most durable and powerful material for crafting tools, weapons, and armor. Usually, players aim to craft a netherite pickaxe at the earliest, but as it is a hard material to obtain, it is often crafted in the late game. In this article, we look at how to make a Netherite Pickaxe in Minecraft.

Locating netherite and converting it to ingots is a hard job to do. Netherite can be found in the Nether realms and can be hard not to pass by. But by obtaining these, the player will have good items and significant buffs.

Crafting netherite gear will become even more complicated once Mojang releases the 1.20 update. This is because the developers are significantly changing the smithing table and the netherite upgrade system. A netherite pickaxe is a tool that significantly exceeds a diamond pickaxe in strength, durability, and efficiency. It cannot be destroyed by explosion or fire.

Any blocks, including obsidian, can be mined with a netherite pickaxe. A netherite pickaxe can be repaired with an anvil while retaining the enchantments placed on it. A netherite pickaxe can also be enchanted for Strength and Luck, adding additional useful properties.

Even though in the rate of destruction of some blocks, the netherite pickaxe is inferior to the gold one, the netherite pickaxe has a strength 1.3 times greater than the diamond pickaxe. Therefore, if it is possible to create it, it will serve the player for quite a long time.

Two ways to craft a netherite pickaxe in Minecraft in 2023

There are two ways to craft the game’s rarest and most impressive pickaxe. The 1.20 update hasn’t been released yet, so currently, you can follow the first method to craft a netherite pickaxe. However, if you read this after the 1.20 update, you’ll have to read the method in this article mentioned here and for the following newest update.

1. Find Ancient Debris in the Nether

1 9

Ancient Debris’ spawn level in Minecraft in Minecraft is most often around Y-level -15 in the Nether. There are two methods that players can use to find this elusive ore.

It is the rarest block in the game and rarely spawns in veins of more than one. So players should know beforehand to be patient while setting out to mine them. Finding Ancient Debris for Netherite in Minecraft’s Nether is likely the longest grind players will have to go through if they want their armor and tools to be the strongest they can be.

Players will want to be careful, as they’ll be running into a lot of lava and terrain that could cause careless deaths. Mining Ancient Debris is no easy task, but players should be able to find Ancient Debris in no time if they are patient enough.

2. From Ancient Debris to Netherite Ingots

1 10

To get Netherite gear, you’ll have to find and smelt Ancient Debris. This will turn it into Netherite Scraps. You’ll then craft four Netherite Scraps with four Gold Ingots, giving you Netherite Ingots.

You can use these to upgrade your tools. Netherite Ingots are impressive and rare ingots, usually used to upgrade tools and armor made of diamond into their Netherite equivalents.

They are the strongest and most unique material in-game. They are resistant to burning in fire and lava, but the armor cannot protect you from flames like fire resistance.

Using the smithing table, netherite ingots can turn diamond gear into netherite gear, one of the strongest gears in the game.

3. Crafting netherite pickaxe

1 11

The two main items needed to make a netherite pickaxe are the netherite ingot and the diamond pickaxe you made in the previous sections.

Read: How to Find Nether Fortresses in Minecraft

Now you need another tool with the name of the smithing table that will be used to combine these two items, and in return, you will get the netherite pickaxe, Which you can upgrade your diamond gear to netherite.

Simply place a diamond pickaxe and a netherite ingot to craft the netherite pickaxe. Remember, you cannot craft a netherite ingot with a regular pickaxe crafting recipe.

Netherite pickaxe after the release of the 1.20 update

One of the common reasons Minecraft has a huge player base is because of the updates it receives every year. The developers keep the game more popular and alive by releasing new themes and features and changing existing ones.

With the 1.20 update, changes are planned on how netherite items can be obtained. Sometimes, the changes made or features added are small-scale. But, this time around, the upcoming Minecraft 1.20 update will bring major additions to how players obtain the rare and unique netherite items, tools, and weapons in the game of Minecraft.

Players will need a netherite ingot and a new item called a netherite upgrade smithing template. This new item is essential for upgrading any gear to netherite.

They will generally be found in bastion remnants as chest loots. You can obtain the upgraded tool once you obtain the new netherite upgrade smithing template, alongside a diamond pickaxe and netherite ingots.

Minecraft provides the experience of several structures, elements, and materials to the players in Minecraft that make sure each quest is unique and enjoyable for the players.

Netherite is one of the unique materials included in the game, and it is the most complex material to acquire in the game as well.

You can upgrade your gear to the maximum tier now that you know how to make a netherite ingot. Ensure you do this in your survival world better to protect yourself from the game’s many mobs!

5 Best Breeding Mobs in Minecraft 1.19 https://playerassist.com/5-best-breeding-mobs-minecraft-1-19/ https://playerassist.com/5-best-breeding-mobs-minecraft-1-19/#respond Sun, 28 May 2023 11:55:29 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=401610

Minecraft has had many major changes recently in the game with the release of the Caves and Cliffs update. This update has added many new features to the game, including revamped caves, improved mountains, and some new mobs.

5 Best Breeding Mobs in Minecraft 1.19

There are already dozens of awesome animals in Minecraft with the Caves and Cliffs update. Minecraft 1.19 has loads of impressive and useful mobs that can be bred. Breeding is a unique feature that allows the players to spawn offspring of certain mobs and grow them.

Breeding animals is a common part of playing Minecraft, especially if you plan on playing long-term, as they can act as forms of resources, transportation, and even companionship.

In this Minecraft guide, we’ll provide a handy and detailed list of five animal mobs available to breed in Minecraft, including horses, Cows, Wolves, and many more.

And should you choose to build an animal farm, you’ll save yourself plenty of time in the long run and a huge relief in stress as it’s one less thing you must worry about gathering the resources.

1. Horse

1 12

Players commonly use horses as transportation to travel the world faster. They are faster mobs in this game and can automatically jump on high ground within one block. Breeding this animal can produce an even faster and healthier horse.

For years, players have used breeding to create some of the most vital and impressive horses in the game that can run fast, have a huge health bar, and even jump multiple blocks.

But, the players must create rare golden carrots to breed them. Breeding horses that are too young can result in weaker offspring. Wait until your horses are fully grown and have high stats before breeding them.

It’s important to consider the traits and characteristics of the parents when breeding horses. It’s important to keep your breeding horses separate from the rest of your horses to prevent accidental breeding and to keep track of their lineage. Breeding horses without considering their genetics can also result in unpredictable offspring.

2. Wolf

1 13

Wolves are one of the several mobs that gamers can find within Minecraft. Most players will encounter the wolves in Forests, Taiga, Groves, Snowy Taiga, Old Growth Pine Taiga, and Old Growth Spruce terrain and biomes.

Wolves are considered one of the best house mobs in the game. These specific creatures are essentially neutral and can be tamed to become useful companions in the game. On top of this, individuals can also breed tamed wolves by feeding them meat.

Taming and breeding wolves is not very challenging, and players can achieve the same easily. They are incredibly loyal and will follow their owners wherever they go. Moreover, they will not hesitate to attack any mob that harms their master, no matter how powerful they are.

On top of that, players can even breed them for cute cubs. Those who love dogs can create an army of wolves to protect them. Wolves can enter “love mode” after eating any raw meat.

3. Cows

1 14

It may sound odd, but cow beef is considered one of the best food items in the game. It replenishes four hunger points, helping the players heal faster and stay healthy in the game. Cows are one of the best mobs to breed, as users create a massive pen filled with cows that can be killed to obtain beef.

Cows are essential for Minecraft players for a few different reasons. The process becomes relatively easy since they breed with a common crop like wheat. Of course, if this is too much for some players, the game also has vegetarian food options.

The first and most obvious reason cows are important for survival players is that they drop raw beef. Players can then cook this into a steak to stave off the perils of starvation. Another use for cows is their other, much more important drop: leather.

Leather can be used to make books. Books are, in turn, used to make bookshelves, mainly used to increase the maximum level of enchantment available for players to select in enchantment tables.

4. Axolotl

1 15

Axolotls are some of the cutest and most unique mobs in Minecraft. These land and underwater mobs spawn in the Lush Caves biome. Even though they cannot commonly be tamed, there is a way to breed more of them.

Players must find two adult axolotls and feed them a bucket of tropical fish. This way, the heart particles will appear over them, spawning a baby axolotl. They are impressive pets to keep in a base and can also be excellent allies when fighting hostile underwater mobs.

5. Allay

1 16

Allay is a new flying mob in the game that is beneficial to players in the game. What is known is that Allay can be found in prisons in woodland mansions and pillager outposts.

Once freed, this helpful little mob can procure and carry items for you. While allays do not necessarily breed with each other, they can be duplicated using amethyst shards. Though players are still discovering how to use these mobs efficiently, they are already famous in the game’s community.

They must be near a jukebox playing any music disc to duplicate Allays. Once they start dancing, players need to give them an amethyst shard to duplicate them.

Once the mob duplicates, both entities enter a cooldown before they can be duplicated again.

Breeding mobs in Minecraft is a fun and rewarding activity that can enhance your gameplay experience. Following the ideas of breeding and useful mobs in this article, you can create a stable of unique and powerful mobs to help you in your adventures.

You must remember to be patient and careful when breeding these mobs and to avoid common mistakes such as breeding unhealthy or too many mobs to breed.

With some practice and experimentation, you can become a skilled mob breeder and enjoy all the benefits that come with it.

So go ahead and start breeding those mobs! You never know what unique and powerful combinations you might discover. Happy breeding!

5 Tricks You Should Know When Mining in Minecraft https://playerassist.com/5-tricks-know-mining-minecraft/ https://playerassist.com/5-tricks-know-mining-minecraft/#respond Sat, 27 May 2023 20:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=405380

This article aims to help players achieve more from their in-game mining expeditions in Minecraft.

5 Tricks You Should Know When Mining in Minecraft

Mining is one of Minecraft’s many core mechanics that players should utilize more to progress in this game. However, it is important because it is one of the few activities in the game crucial to the player’s progression.

Mining in Minecraft has players delving into the game’s colossal cave systems. Caves, ravines, and many other locations contain valuable ores and minerals such as diamonds, iron, and emeralds. These are then used to craft weapons, armor, tools, and other important items for the player’s quest and character progression.

Minecraft mining is a huge part of the game, as you can know from the game’s name. Some of the ores and other valuable items will be found deep underground and will not always be easy to find.

While common ores like coal or raw iron are easy enough to obtain, simply mining in a basic fashion might yield a few rare ores, but having the right tips and knowledge can lead to greater gains overall.

Minecraft players can follow many tricks when mining for rare and valuable ores, but some are particularly effective and worth highlighting. We put some of the five useful tricks to help your mining.

Top 5 Tricks To Know When Mining in Minecraft

1. Use Potions of Night Vision

1 6

When mining in Minecraft, you should not underestimate the value of using potions of Night Vision. After the player uses these potions, it will give the player greater visibility and make it easier to find valuable resources that might otherwise go unnoticed by the naked eye.

Most Minecraft players will be surprised how often they miss out on rare ores simply by not seeing them in the dark. Using potions of Night Vision strategically can greatly increase your mining efficiency and success rate.

Read: How to Brew Potions in Minecraft

Night vision potion is a magical liquid in Minecraft that lets players easily see everything in the dark. When players enter the game’s vast world, they will start progressing quickly and mine deep and dark caves to find valuable resources and become stronger.

However, caves can be extremely dark and unpredictable, making traversing and finding things difficult. This is where the potion of night vision comes into play.

2. Make Use of X-ray Glitches

1 9
Image Source: Rediscover Redstone / Youtube

The players in Minecraft may not often use the X-ray glitches, but they are permitted in the game and can be incredibly helpful for mining. These glitches allow you to see through solid blocks. Combined with a potion of Night Vision, this can reveal where the different ore veins and generated structures underground at significant distances are.

Although X-ray glitches vary between game versions, they provide roughly the same results. So if you are having a rough time finding some valuable items to mine, a well-placed X-ray glitch can change everything. However, check with admins before using this glitch in online Minecraft servers.

This glitch can be considered cheating on most servers because you can see the surroundings for mobs, loot chests, or precious ores. But for solo play, this trick can be quite useful. If others catch you cheating, they can forbid you to do something or even ban you off the server.

3. Know the ore distribution

image 2023 04 08 164237799

Ores are placed within a specific height range whenever a Minecraft world is generated. As a result, rare ores commonly appear at certain height level locations as players tunnel underground. For example, diamond ore’s frequency increases the deeper a player digs downward.

Meanwhile, gold ores often appear around the height level Y= -16, roughly at the center of its total generation range. Before the players start mining, they must know where and how to locate these valuable ores, and it’s not a bad idea to check to see where the ores generate the highest amounts.

Once you know this information, you can check your coordinates and travel to the necessary height. Specific ores can be found at distinct levels in Minecraft. Players should know where ore is available, as this can make their mining process faster and more efficient.

4. Know your mining methods

1 7

There are different kinds of mining techniques in Minecraft, with each method having its advantages and disadvantages. Depending on factors within the location, available tools, and personal preference, rare ores can be found at different success rates and frequencies.

The most popular methods include branch, shaft, strip, and quarry mining. You must be familiar with each method, as you never know when one technique might suit your current task. And strip mining is one of Minecraft’s most popular forms of mining.

Strip mining is an efficient way to mine a large land area without digging the whole area out. This allows the player to check a certain area for resources quickly. Players commonly use this method to find diamonds in the game.

5. Keep an eye out for special terrain

1 10

In Minecraft, sometimes the world generates in a way that can give quick access to quality ores without you wearing out your pickaxe and shovel. Specifically, the game generates caves and ravines where you can mine and obtain some ores easily.

The world’s seed decides where terrain features like these are placed, so players can set themselves up easily by using a seed with deep-running ravines and caves. Some players reach considerably deep into the ground simply by going through ravines and caverns.

This can result in rare ores being available just by exploring them, saving plenty of time branch mining and reducing pickaxe durability.

Minecraft would not be what it was without mining. In this article, we have gone over some of the best tips you can use when you mine in the game and what awesome things you can do with them.

As you may well know, good gamers are those players who know how to utilize these shortcuts and techniques. That is why if you can use the techniques mentioned above, you can be a pro-Minecraft miner in no time.

5 Useful Mobs Of The Nether in Minecraft 1.19 https://playerassist.com/5-useful-mobs-nether-minecraft-1-19/ https://playerassist.com/5-useful-mobs-nether-minecraft-1-19/#respond Sat, 27 May 2023 17:00:00 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=406693

Learn the top 5 most useful mobs in Minecraft’s Nether dimension as of the 1.19 Update.

5 Useful Mobs Of The Nether in Minecraft 1.19

The world of Minecraft is unimaginably vast and huge. The awe-inspiring naturally generated structures often leave players astonished. And in them, mobs run about. Mobs are entities in Minecraft that add more life to the game.

Many mobs spawn naturally in various parts of all three dimensions. These entities can be classified as hostile, neutral, and passive. Most of the player base usually interacts with mobs to farm items, as most will drop something upon their deaths. However, a select few can also drop rare, life-saving items.

One of the most amazing dimensions of Minecraft is the Nether world, an exciting area filled with many challenges. This place of lava and fire has a lot of obtainable loot items and even a few mobs that can be helpful on your adventure.

Although these Nether mobs might be helpful, players must be vigilant and aware that some of them, if not all, are hostile and will try to attack you. A few exceptions exist, but players should always keep their guard up.

Read: 5 Best Ways to Survive the Nether

Defeating some enemy mobs in the Nether, Minecraft players can obtain amazing and useful items for their daily needs in their adventures. As of Minecraft 1.19, there are five useful Nether mobs for players. We have specified each mob below:

Top 5 Most Useful Mobs in the Nether Dimension

1. Striders

1 35

Minecraft’s Nether dimension is one of the most dangerous locations in the game. It is a realm where you will likely die to fire, lava, or numerous deadly monsters. The 1.16 update introduced striders; these kinds of mobs are immune to lava and don’t mind letting players ride them.

Striders can be used as a mode of transportation across the Nether. Their ability to not drown inside the lava and instead walk on its surface can prove to be extremely valuable to players. Players will, however, need a saddle to sit on a strider and ride them across lava or on land.

They are built for the warmth of lava, not the natural heat resonating from the Netherrack. When on land, the Strider will move much slower and appear to shiver. Their skin will also turn blue, further showing their hate for land.

In the Overworld, players can use a saddle to mount and ride pigs similarly. Like how a carrot on a stick is used to lure a pig and make it walk faster, warped fungus serves the same purpose as striders in the Nether. Striders can also be killed and will drop strings, making them an alternate source of the material compared to killing spiders in the Overworld.

2. Ghasts

1 36

The Ghast is the second largest mob in Minecraft, taking on the shape of a floating ghost. This mysterious figure spawns at a 5×5 wide and four blocks high location. It spawns in the Soul Sand Valley, Basalt Deltas, and Nether Waste. Once spawned, its eerie cries haunt the entire Nether, with their screams being heard from hundreds of blocks away.

Terrified players tend to run for their lives after hearing the cries. But players need to take the challenge head-on when they are after ghast tears. Meticulous planning and proper preparation are necessary for the player to have any chance of survival.

Players who have spent enough time in the Nether have likely learned to know the ghast’s sad cry in the distance. These creatures may seem not harmful when they are far away, but their ability to release fireballs from their mouths can cause many chaotic problems for Minecraft players.

But if killed, players can receive very valuable items, both gunpowder and ghast tears, which can be used in many crafting and potion-brewing recipes that greatly help you. Ghast tears can be very useful and can be used to create potions of regeneration and End Crystals.

3. Piglins

1 37

The standard piglins can be a great threat to Minecraft players if they will not be careful, but also, at the same time, they are an amazing source of items. As we all know, if a player isn’t wearing a piece of golden gear, piglins will not hesitate to attack them directly.

But these Nether creatures love gold more than most things, and if players wear gold armor, the piglins will leave them alone as long as they don’t attack first. Even better, when piglins are pacified in this way, players can give them gold ingots to barter for items.

Many speedrunners use this method to quickly acquire Ender pearls to create Eyes of Ender and complete the Survival Mode story. Piglins also offer and gives a lot of valuable and amazing items such as enchanted books, potions, boots enchanted with Soul Speed, and many more.

4. Blazes

1 34

Blazes are uncommon nether mobs generally seen in and around nether fortresses. These fiery mobs can attack the player from afar by throwing small fireballs at them. Blazes have made their way to this list because they are the only source of a special rare item called the blaze rod, which is crucial for entering the End dimension.

The chances of players getting a blaze rod from a blaze mob are only 50%. Therefore, it is recommended that players fight this mob using a weapon with Looting enchantment. With Looting, you can increase your chances of getting more blaze rods per Blaze killed.

Blaze rods are the main material needed in creating the eyes of enders, which are needed to activate portals to the End. Without blazes, players won’t get far in their pursuits to finish Minecraft’s Survival Mode by defeating the Ender Dragon. You cannot get blaze rods without Creative Mode or cheats unless you kill these fiery foes.

But blaze rods are also important for being broken down into blaze powder, the main fuel for power brewing stations. For this reason, so many Minecraft players farm blazes within Nether fortresses as much as possible because it benefits their adventures.

5. Magma Cube

1 33

This mob looks similar to slimes found in Minecraft’s Overworld. Magma cubes are much more dangerous because of their ability to jump higher, deal more damage, and nullify fire damage. They have their uses, as they drop magma cream, which can be used in brewing to create fire resistance potions.

Magma cream is also a crucial crafting component in creating magma blocks from scratch without breaking them with a Silk Touch-enchanted tool. And magma cubes can also be used to create one of the best light sources in the game.

When frogs eat small magma cubes, the frogs can create froglights, making three different colors depending on the frog’s color. Considering how powerful froglights are as a light source, magma cubes have become much more useful.

How To Breed All Animal Mobs in Minecraft 1.19 https://playerassist.com/breed-animal-mobs-minecraft-1-19/ https://playerassist.com/breed-animal-mobs-minecraft-1-19/#respond Sat, 27 May 2023 13:35:50 +0000 https://playerassist.com/?p=403936

In this Minecraft guide, we will provide a complete list of all the animals available to breed in Minecraft 1.19, including animals that range from Horses, Turtles, Hoglins, and more.

How To Breed All Animal Mobs in Minecraft 1.19

Breeding animals is a necessary part of playing Minecraft, especially if you plan on playing long-term, as they can act as forms of resources, transportation, and even companionship.

Building an animal farm will save you plenty of time in the long run and provide huge stress relief, as gathering their drops elsewhere is one less thing you must worry about.

1. Pandas

1 72

Pandas can be found in jungle biomes and love bamboo. They will follow players holding bamboo in their hands. The tricky part about pandas is breeding them.

Read: How to Use Cheats in 1.19

Eight bamboo blocks need to be within a five-block radius to breed them. Only then will they enter love mode and breed with each other. Otherwise, the pandas will just eat the bamboo.

2. Chickens

1 73

Chickens can be bred with wheat, pumpkin, melon, and beetroot seeds. This makes the chicken one of the easiest mobs to breed since obtaining wheat seeds is extremely easy.

3. Pigs

1 74

Pigs are also considered one of the most useful animals to breed in Minecraft. The player can breed them with carrots, potatoes, or beetroots. Pigs used to use wheat for breeding in the game’s early days, but Mojang changed their breeding food item after the 1.4.2 update.

4. Horses and Donkeys

1 75

Horses and donkeys are some of the most useful mobs that can either breed with each other to spawn mules or with their type. Even though their breeding process is often standard, players must feed them golden apples, enchanted golden apples, or golden carrots.

Read: How to Mine Iron in Minecraft 1.19

These are rare and expensive items to find or craft in the game. The players need to be careful before using them for the breeding process to get the right breeding type.

5. Cows, goats, sheep, and mooshrooms

1 76

Cows, sheep, mooshrooms, and goats have been put together since they use the same food item to enter breeding mode: wheat. They are commonly known for being the easiest animals to breed since wheat can be grown from wheat seeds which are easily obtained by breaking grass. Cow and sheep farms are common builds whenever players set up a base camp in-game.

6. Axolotls

1 86

Axolotls are one of the smallest and cutest mobs that players can breed. Once the two Axolotls are found in a Lush Cave biome, they can be fed with a bucket of tropical fish each to begin breeding. Remember, tropical fish must be alive and in a bucket of water for the breeding to happen. Such fish are most common in warm or lukewarm oceans.

7. Wolves

1 77

Wolves are one of the game’s most common and awesome pet mobs. Though they can also breed, players must tame them using bones first. After that, they can be fed raw or cooked meat items like beef, chicken, pork chops, mutton, etc. They can even be fed rotten flesh to start the breeding process. Wolves are an amazing mob to breed, and they can help you in your adventures in the game in the long run.

Note: If the wolf has recently been injured, it will not enter breeding mode until its health has been fully restored by feeding them raw or cooked meat.

8. Cats and Ocelots

1 79

Cats and ocelots are categorized under the same subheading as they have the same food items to enter breeding modes, like raw cod or salmon. But the players must first gain an ocelot’s trust or tame a cat to breed them successfully.

9. Llama and trader llamas

1 82

Llamas and trader llamas can only be bred once players tame them. After taming them, they can be fed hay bales for breeding. Hay bale blocks can be obtained from villages or crafted with nine wheat items.

10. Turtles

1 81

Breeding turtles takes a bit of work. Turtles spawn on beaches and can commonly be found swimming in the water. They will follow players holding seagrass; two turtles can be bred by feeding them this item. Seagrass can be picked up by using shears. Once the turtles breed, one will go to the shore and dig around for a long time before dropping turtle eggs.

These eggs take a few in-game days to hatch and spawn tiny baby turtles. These eggs will eventually spawn turtles, or players can pick up these eggs by using a silk touch pickaxe. However, several mobs are somewhat hostile toward these turtle eggs, which might result in the eggs getting crushed. Players must protect them for several days to complete the breeding process.

11. Foxes

1 78

Breeding foxes can be tricky and quite frustrating due to their elusive nature. You can only find foxes in a taiga biome, and they will run from approaching players. The crouch or sneak action would be best to get close enough to one.

The easiest way is to barricade the foxes by surrounding them in a two-block high area where they can not escape. Once the two adult foxes are pinned in, feed them sweet berries, which can also be found within the taiga biome.

12. Rabbits

1 83

Rabbits are hard to breed since they fear players and immediately run away. But once fed with dandelions or golden carrots, they enter breeding mode and spawn cute, tiny baby rabbits.

13. Bees

1 84

Bees are straightforward to breed, as they only need to be fed a one or a two-block-tall flower. These mobs can be fed any flower, such as dandelions, poppies, blue orchids, alliums, azure bluets, red tulips, orange tulips, white tulips, pink tulips, oxeye daisies, cornflowers, wither roses, sunflowers, lilacs, rose bushes, peonies, and lily of the valley to begin the breeding process.

14. Frogs

1 80

Frogs are one of the newest mobs in the game that can be awesome to breed. The players can feed them with slimeballs to get them to enter breeding mode. Once the breeding process is complete between the two frogs, one will find a suitable place in the water and lay frogspawn eggs. Tadpoles hatch from these eggs after a few minutes.
